BMW files case against Indian firm for making e-rickshaws under 'DMW' name

German carmaker BMW has filed a case against Indian auto company Om Balajee Automobile for manufacturing e-rickshaws under the 'DMW' trademark since 2013. BMW accused Om of using the trademark with a "dishonest intention" to take advantage of its reputation and goodwill. The Delhi HC has forbidden Om from, "in any manner, dealing with any goods" bearing the mark 'DMW'.
