BMW to recall nearly 140,000 of its 3-series cars in China

BMW will recall nearly 140,000 of its 3-series cars in China from November 9, due to an air-conditioning (AC) defect which may cause a fire. The recall covers 89,309 vehicles produced in China and 50,143 imported vehicles manufactured between 2005 and 2011, China's market regulator said. The vehicles will be checked and the defective parts will be replaced for free.
