Boat was pulled into whirlpool: Survivors recall Godavari boat tragedy

Recalling the Godavari boat tragedy on Sunday, in which at least 11 people were killed and around 24 are missing, survivor Jyoti Babu said, "The boat was being pulled into a whirlpool." A survivor named Madhulata, who lost her 12-year-old daughter while her husband is missing, said, "I told them not to rescue me. There's no point in staying alive."
