Boatman who earned ₹30 cr in Maha Kumbh has 20 criminal cases against him: Reports

Boatman Pintu Mahara, whose family earned ₹30 crore in Maha Kumbh, has over 20 criminal cases, including murder and attempt to murder, registered against him, reports said. Mahara was first booked in 2005 and even on February 11, 2025, for allegedly extorting money from other boatmen. He was also booked under the Gangsters Act and the Goondas Act, reports said.
