Boaty McBoatface sets off on first Antarctic mission

A small yellow robot submarine called Boaty McBoatface is setting off on its first Antarctic mission to investigate turbulence and water flow in the Orkney Passage. The British submarine was named when people voted overwhelmingly to call a new polar research ship Boaty McBoatface. Although authorities rejected the name for the boat, they gave it to the submarine.
