Bob Iger named Disney CEO less than a year after retiring from company

The Walt Disney Company on Sunday announced that Bob Iger will be returning as CEO effective immediately. The announcement comes days after former CEO Bob Chapek said Disney planned to freeze hiring and cut some jobs. Iger, who retired from Disney 11 months ago and held the CEO role for 15 years, will serve as CEO for two more years.
