Body of Manipur teenager missing since May recovered

On 31 January, 17-year-old Ngangom Nevy's skeleton was discovered in Manipur's Chandel district after being murdered by suspected militants in May 2023. The search operation was initiated after a viral video of Nevy's brutal killing surfaced on social media. Nevy's family expressed shock at the discovery, stating that the brutal killing was too much to bear.
