Alaska Airlines said Boeing paid it around $160 million (about ₹1,333 crore) "to address the financial damages incurred as a result of Flight 1282 and the 737-9 MAX groundings". A door plug of an Alaska-operated MAX 9 jet blew out mid-air in January. US authorities grounded 171 Boeing 737-9 MAX jets for about three weeks following the incident.
