Boeing satellite falls apart in orbit, 20 pieces of debris being tracked

A Boeing-built communications satellite, Intelsat 33e, disintegrated in orbit, resulting in a reported total loss. An "anomaly" caused the satellite to cease operations on October 19. The US Space Forces-Space (S4S) noted no immediate threats and stated they are conducting routine assessments to ensure space safety. Currently, approximately 20 pieces of debris from the incident are being tracked.
