Boeing to begin delivery of Apache helicopters to IAF by July

US aerospace company Boeing has said it plans to deliver the first of 22 AH-64E Apache twin-turboshaft attack helicopters to the Indian Air Force (IAF) starting July. A joint venture between Tata and Boeing is building the fuselages of the Apache helicopters in Hyderabad. India has also placed an order for 15 CH-47F Chinook heavy-lift helicopters from Boeing.
