Boeing wins $20 billion contract for US Navy's F/A-XX fighter

Boeing secured a $20 billion contract to develop the US Navy's F/A-XX sixth-generation carrier-based fighter jet. The aircraft features a wider body for extended weapons and fuel capacity, 700 nautical mile range, stealth-optimized design with aerodynamic chines, and advanced sensors. Boeing Defense CEO Steve Parker called it "an honor" to build the Navy's first sixth-generation platform.
