Bombay HC grants Sameer Wankhede interim protection till February 28

Bombay HC has granted former Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede interim protection from coercive steps like arrest till February 28. FIR was filed against Wankhede in connection with an alleged forgery case on a complaint by the Maharashtra Excise Department's Shankar Gogavale. Wankhede had allegedly obtained a bar licence by willful misrepresentation of his age.
