Bombay HC protects woman who fled 'forced marriage', says 'She can choose where to live'
Bombay High Court upheld a 21-year-old woman's right to decide where she lives, whom she marries and whether she pursues higher education. It protected the woman, who alleged her parents pressured her to marry a cousin 10 years older. Calling her legally competent to make her choices, it directed police to close the missing person case filed by her parents.
