Bombay HC denies shifting of girl's custody after 11 years

The Bombay High Court declined to grant interim custody of an 11-year-old girl to her biological parents, citing her emotional stability and decade-long bond with the respondent couple. Justice NJ Jamadar noted an abrupt transfer posed imminent psychological risk. The District Court in Kalyan will examine the adoption claim and the biological parents will get weekend visitation rights.
