Bombs thrown at police van on Trichy-Chennai highway, EPS slams DMK govt

Ex-Tamil Nadu CM and AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday claimed that some individuals hurled country-made bombs at a police vehicle on Trichy-Chennai highway. He stated the attack took place when police personnel were escorting a rowdy, identified as Vellai Kali, from Madurai for interrogation. Palaniswami criticised DMK government over the state's law-and-order situation.
