Born deaf, now IIM Bangalore-bound after cochlear implant surgery

A 22-year-old Delhi woman with profound hearing loss underwent successful bilateral cochlear implant surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka. After six months of rehabilitation, she significantly reduced her dependence on lip reading and gained confidence in communication. The IIT Bombay graduate has now secured admission to IIM Bangalore, marking a major milestone in her journey.
