Botanist debunks claim linking hen eggs to menstrual waste

Chickens lack uteri and menstrual cycles, confirms botanist Nidhi Singh. Egg-laying in hens is part of their ovulatory process, not menstruation. Farm or 'desi', these eggs are unfertilised ovum encased in calcium shells, that are entirely natural and biologically distinct from menstrual waste. As per Singh, the claim is scientifically baseless and misleading.
