Box-office player: Ashwin after Sooryavanshi's 36(16) against GT

Ex-RR all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin called RR's 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi a "box-office player" after he scored 36(16) against GT. "I wouldn't mind watching him in all three formats...Get him onto cricket grounds, get people coming along, because he's going to entertain you," he added. Sooryavanshi has scored 440 runs with a strike rate of 236.56 in 11 IPL 2026 matches.
