Boxer Parveen, whose 2022 bronze was taken away, to fight for gold at Asiad 2026

India's Parveen Hooda reached the women's 65kg boxing final after defeating China's Li Shu 5-0 in the semi-final at the Asian Games 2026 on Tuesday. Parveen's bronze from the Asian Games 2022 was taken away after the ITA suspended her for 22 months over a whereabouts failure. She will face Chinese Taipei's Nien Chin Chen in the gold medal bout.
