Boxer Sakshi beats reigning champion Minakshi, secures CWG, Asian Games berth

Boxer Sakshi Chaudhary, representing Indian Army, defeated current world and Asian champion Minakshi Hooda in the women's 51kg category final at the national boxing selection trials on Friday. The 5-0 victory secured her chance to represent India at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow and Asian Games 2026 in Japan. Notably, Sakshi had defeated Nikhat Zareen in the semi-finals.
