Boy dies weeks after dog bite in Maha, hospital says he received anti-rabies shots

A 12-year-old boy has died several weeks after dog bite in Maharashtra’s Thane district. The hospital where the boy was admitted after the dog bite stated that he was administered anti-rabies vaccines along with tetanus injection. The local MLA claimed a shortage of medicines at government hospitals in the area and accused the hospital staff of negligence.
