Boy injured in jackal attack in Kerala's Kozhikode

A 12-year-old boy named Jasmal was seriously injured after a jackal attacked him in broad daylight in Kozhikode's Cheruvadi area. The incident happened around noon when he was returning home from a mosque. The animal bit him multiple times before locals rushed him to hospital. He is now stable and under treatment at Government Medical College Hospital.
