Boy who starred in Kai Po Che! as 14-yr-old bought by Mumbai Indians in auction

Maharashtra's 21-year-old all-rounder Digvijay Deshmukh, who portrayed the character of Ali Hashmi, an aspiring cricketer, in 2013 film 'Kai Po Che!' was bought by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 auction. Digvijay was sold at his base price of ₹20 lakh. The youngster, who made his domestic cricket debut in a T20 in November, has played seven T20s so far.
