BPCL begins talks with Iran for possible crude imports: Report
State-run oil refiner Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has begun talks with Iranian suppliers to prepare for possible future crude imports, Finance Director Vetsa Ramakrishna Gupta told Moneycontrol. The company is awaiting clarity on a US-Iran agreement that could lift sanctions. The US has granted Iran a 60-day waiver, allowing oil exports until August 21.
