BPCL, HPCL join Indian Oil to lay ₹10,000-crore LPG pipeline
State-owned Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) on Tuesday announced they have picked 25% stake each in the country's longest LPG pipeline project being laid by Indian Oil. The project, which entails an investment of ₹10,000 crore, involves laying of pipeline from Gujarat's Kandla to Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. Indian Oil will hold the remaining 50% stake in the project.
