Brahmaputra water turning black due to Tibet quake: Minister
A study has found that the water of Brahmaputra river could be turning black due to a recent earthquake in Tibet, Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said. The river originates in southern Tibet and becomes the Brahmaputra when it enters Arunachal Pradesh. "The Central Water Commission (CWC) has started looking into the matter," the minister added.
