Brain-dead Kerala teen saves five lives via organ donation

Ayona Monson of Kerala, a 17-year-old, declared brain dead after a tragic fall, donated her organs to save five lives. In a landmark move, one kidney was airlifted to Thiruvananthapuram, while her other kidney, liver, and corneas were transplanted in Kozhikode and Thalassery. Health Minister Veena George praised the family’s courageous decision, calling it a beacon of humanity.
