Brazil ex-Prez Bolsonaro allowed to serve jail term in house arrest

Brazil's Supreme Court Justice ruled on Friday that former President Jair Bolsonaro can remain under house arrest instead of prison due to health concerns. Bolsonaro is serving a 27-year prison sentence since November for plotting a coup after losing the 2022 election. The 71-year-old was shifted from prison to a private clinic after being diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this year.
