Brazil will face Norway in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16. Brazil last defeated a European side in the knockouts in the 2002 final against Germany. Since then, they have lost to France, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Croatia in World Cup knockouts from the 2006 to 2022 editions.
