Brazil reports 3,808 COVID-19 deaths in a single day

Brazil on Tuesday reported 3,808 deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising its pandemic death toll to 3,58,425. According to Brazil's Health Ministry, the country reported 82,186 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking its nationwide tally of COVID-19 cases to 1,35,99,994. Brazil has the world's second-largest pandemic death toll only after the United States.
