Brazil reports 7th highest COVID-19 cases in world at 1.78 lakh

Brazil's coronavirus cases rose to seventh highest globally at over 1.78 lakh on Tuesday, surpassing Germany's tally at over 1.70 lakh cases. Brazil reported 881 deaths from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, its highest increase in daily deaths from the virus. Earlier, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro decreed businesses such as gyms and hair salons as essential services.
