Brazil unveils Pele statue to mark 50th anniversary of 1970 World Cup win

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) unveiled a statue of football legend Pele at its headquarters to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the team's third World Cup triumph of 1970. The Brazilian team then led by Pele won all seven of their matches of the tournament and defeated Italy 4-1 to lift the trophy.
