Breastfeeding may help babies sleep longer by age one, finds study
Researchers have found out breastfeeding may help babies sleep longer by age one. The babies had the lowest risk (8.8%) of insufficient sleep at age one when they were exclusively breastfed for the first six months compared to the 12.2% chance when they were fed only formula milk. Children sleeping less than 11 hours/day were considered to have insufficient sleep.
