Brendan Fraser to play villain Firefly in 'Batgirl'

Brendan Fraser, known for his role in 'The Mummy', is set to star in Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi's 'Batgirl'. According to Variety, he will play the villainous Firefly, a sociopath with a passion for pyrotechnics, in the upcoming DC film. Actor JK Simmons will reprise the role of Commissioner James Gordon in 'Batgirl'.
