Brexit will force UK to borrow ₹10.4 lakh cr extra: Hammond

UK's Chancellor of Exchequer Philip Hammond has said that Britain will need to borrow £122 billion (around ₹10.4 lakh crore) more than expected, as it prepares to leave the EU. Hammond, who is equivalent to the Finance Minister, said the economy may slow down due to weak business spending. Opposition leaders slammed the "abject failure" of the government's economic plan.
