BRICS launches two tax working groups under India's chair

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced two BRICS working groups in New Delhi — one on international taxation and transfer pricing, another on revenue statistics. The groups aim to give BRICS nations a stronger voice in global tax reforms, addressing transfer-pricing disputes and revenue frameworks that disadvantage developing countries. They will continue beyond India's 2026 chairship.
