Britain may fine TikTok £27 mn for failing to protect children's privacy

TikTok may be fined £27 million ($28.91 million) over a possible break of UK data protection law by failing to protect children's privacy. The Information Commissioner's Office has issued TikTok with a notice of intent (a legal document that precedes a potential fine). TikTok may have processed data of children under age of 13 without parental consent, the notice said.
