British Airways settles with 4 lakh victims of 2018 data breach

British Airways has settled a case by customers and staff affected by a 2018 data breach that led to personal information being leaked, for which the airline was fined $27.7 million. The breach caused the personal data of over four lakh people to be leaked. Victims will receive a confidential settlement following mediation with British Airways.
