British burned the Chagos native pets to intimidate them to deport

Known as the “campaign of intimidation”, Abhijit Chavda shared that to force Chagos Archipelago natives to leave the land, British forcibly captured their pet dogs (around 1000), gassed and burned them alive in a furnace to show what will happen to them if they decide to not deport and leave the land.
