British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood passes away at 81

Vivienne Westwood, the British fashion designer who was instrumental in shaping the punk movement in the 70s in London, passed away aged 81 on Thursday. Westwood's eponymous fashion house announced her death on social media platforms, saying she died peacefully. Westwood, who was also a climate activist, worked closely with and dressed several stars including Pamela Anderson.
