Broadcom CEO Hock Tan's pay more than doubles to $162 million

Chipmaker Broadcom's CEO Hock Tan's annual pay more than doubled to $161.8 million in 2023, the firm said in a filing. It marks around 167% increase from $60.6 million he received in 2022. Tan's hiked pay comprised stock rewards of $160.5 million, which was almost 510 times the median salary of employees at the firm.
