Broken Gandhi statue from Bengal misrepresented as from Bangladesh

An image of a vandalised Mahatma Gandhi statue is being shared as an incident from Bangladesh by social media users. However, DFRAC's fact check found that the claim was false. The image was found to be from Chakulia in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal, where the statue was damaged during protests related to the SIR process.
