Broken promise of marriage, that was made in good faith, isn't rape: Allahabad HC

Allahabad High Court dismissed charges against a man accused of repeatedly raping a woman on pretext of marriage. The high court noted that relations continued for two years between the first alleged act and the FIR. A breach in a promise made in "good faith" after the relationship goes wrong, "wouldn't be treated as a misconception", it added.
