Brokers used ₹5 note to verify members of ₹1.3-cr front-running scam

Brokers who were found guilty of running a ₹1.3-crore front-running scam used a ₹5 note to verify members while splitting profits, according to one of the brokers' statement given to SEBI. The front-runner sent the note's pic to his partner before he sent profits via cash courier. The courier handed over the profits after the note's serial number was verified.
