Brookfield to build Asia's largest GCC in Mumbai for $1 billion

Canadian asset management firm Brookfield will invest $1 billion (over ₹9,000 crore) in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Mumbai's Powai. The centre will be spread over two million sq ft, making it the largest such centre in Asia, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced. The project will generate more than 45,000 employment opportunities, he said after meeting company officials.
