BRS MLCs make casteist remarks against Telangana Speaker, arrested

Telangana Police on Tuesday arrested BRS MLCs Tata Madhusudhan and N Naveen Kumar under the SC/ST Act for making alleged casteist remarks against the Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. The Speaker's office earlier registered a complaint against them alleging they had abused the Speaker using casteist slurs and derogatory language. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy demanded an apology from the BRS.
