BSE, NSE to remain open for trading on Sunday for Budget

Indian stock markets BSE and NSE on Friday announced that the exchanges will be open for trading on February 1 for Union Budget 2026. The Budget presentation for this fiscal year falls on a Sunday, when the market is usually closed. The schedule for that day will be as per standard timings. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget.
