BSE to enter Nifty50 on September 30, Wipro to exit

BSE will join the Nifty50 from September 30, replacing Wipro as part of the index's semi-annual rebalancing. NSE Indices said BSE's six-month average free-float market capitalisation stood at ₹1.41 lakh crore, over 1.5 times Wipro's ₹55,930 crore. The change may trigger portfolio adjustments by passive index-tracking funds.
