BSF Assistant Sub-Inspector, wife declared 'foreigners' in Assam

Border Security Force (BSF) Assistant Sub-Inspector Muzibur Rahman and his wife have been declared non-Indians by a Foreigners Tribunal (FT) in Assam's Jorhat district. They were declared "foreigners" in an ex parte order passed in December last year. Rahman said the Assam Police's border wing had relied on a "drunkard's account" to submit a report to the FT against him.
