BSNL asks government to allocate it more spectrum for 5G services

Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chauhan informed the Parliament on Wednesday that BSNL has requested for allocation of more spectrum in the auctioned 5G frequency bands. The state-run telecom firm wants 10 MHz of paired spectrum in 700 MHz band. Additionally, it wants 30 MHz and 400 MHz more spectrum in 3300 MHz band and 26 GHz band, respectively.
